Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Conduct supplier assessments of new potential suppliers.

- Examine and ensure that the supplier´s ability meets Schindler needs.

- Industrialize new product & product changes

- Transfer company’s requirement to supplier (drawing, specification, logistics solution…).

- Support supplier prototype manufacture: supervise supplier’s prototype verification

- Coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics to implement correct ordering processes including price and logistics.

- Conduct Production Readiness Review (PRR) for safety components.

- After the industrialization processes, summarize Product Part Approval Process (PPAP)  for safety components.

- Maintain incoming quality control plan for regular components.

- Ensure competitive cost on supplier and continues cost reduction:

- Coordinate CCL activities at supplier.

- Review production process at supplier, its efficiency, productivity and technology.

- Improve supply chain reducing lead time and stocks.

- Supplier performance:

- Monitor supplier performance on monthly base.

- Prepare supplier´s monthly performance report.

- Detect bad performance, improve and set up correct actions at supplier, follow it up for immediate performance recovery.

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Office - Skillful
SAP - Skillful

Personality requirements and skills

Deep industrial background with knowledge and experience in processes and tools relevant for production, quality and supply development.

Experience in product creation, manufacturing processes and technologies (sheet metal processes, iron casting, machining, aluminum profile extrusion).

Experience in working in international company, international project / change management.
